Camera Parking – How it Works
Camera Parking is a feature available at certain parking facilities. Cameras at the entry and exit automatically recognize your license plate, and payment is handled through the payment method linked to your EasyPark account.
How Camera Parking works when leaving the parking area
When you exit, the camera reads your license plate and the parking session ends automatically in the EasyPark app.
How to check if Camera Parking is active
Open the EasyPark app and go to Camera park or Vehicles in the menu. There you can see your registered license plates and whether the camera parking feature is active.
How you know if you need to pay
The app will show whether the parking was free or if a fee applies. Any fee is charged to your selected payment method.
Important things to remember about Camera Parking locations
Not all parking locations support automatic camera parking.
Always check the app to confirm that your session has started. If it doesn’t start automatically, you may need to activate it manually in the app or at the on-site parking machine. For this reason, keep your phone with you so you can verify whether manual activation is required or if the process is fully automatic.
You must manually activate the automatic Camera Parking feature in the app at least 15 minutes before parking.
If you cannot start parking in the app, the parking operator may require payment directly on-site or on their website.
In some camera-controlled areas, parking does not start automatically. After entering, open the EasyPark app and manually start your session to ensure it is correctly registered.
Note: Some camera parking areas require a manual start to get registered in your EasyPark App. Please check this before you are parking.
