Common Reasons for a Parking Fine
No parking started: Did you start a parking session using the EasyPark app? This is necessary unless you have a valid permit.
Incorrect area code: Have you confirmed that the area code used in the app matches the area code on the sign?
Incorrect license plate number: The fine may be because your parking was registered on a different license plate number. Did you select the correct one in the app?
Reserved space: Parking in a space reserved for permits or specific vehicles (such as disabled parking) may result in a fine.
How to Check Why You Received the Fine
Check your EasyPark app:
Open the app and review your recent parking sessions.
Was there an active session when you received the fine?
Did the license plate number and area code match?
Check the fine itself:
The reason for the fine is usually printed on the ticket.
The name of the organization that issued it (municipality or parking company) will also be listed.
Still unsure? Contact the parking operator directly:
Their contact details are usually on the back or bottom of the fine.
How to Appeal the Fine
If you believe the fine was issued incorrectly, instructions on how to appeal are provided directly on the fine.
