Understanding Parking Rules and Pricing
At EasyPark, we aim to make your journey as smooth as possible. While our app handles the payment and timing, the specific rules and prices are set by the independent operators who manage each parking area.
Staying Informed on the Go
To ensure a stress-free experience and avoid any surprises, we recommend two simple habits:
Check the App Before You Start
For most spots, spinning the wheel in the app will show you the exact price and any service fees before you confirm.
Read the On-Site Signage
Physical signs are the ultimate authority for any parking spot. They tell you:
When you can park: Specific hours or days (including free periods like Sundays).
Restrictions: If the spot is reserved for residents, permits, or disabled access.
Time Limits: How long you are allowed to stay.
Important: Camera-Controlled (ANPR) Areas
In areas using camera recognition, pricing works a little differently:
Visible After Parking: Because these sessions are automated based on when you enter and exit, the final total is usually displayed in the app after your session has ended.
Pro Tip: If you need to know the price beforehand in a camera zone, please check the signs at the entrance or visit the parking operator’s website.
Managing Your Session
Extension & Restarting: Many operators allow you to extend your session via the app if you need more time. However, some zones have strict "no-restart" rules once the maximum time is reached. The app will let you know what's possible for your current spot.
Free Parking: On days where the operator offers free parking (like public holidays), the app will typically show a "0 SEK" price. You still start your session to stay compliant, but you won't be charged our service fee for free periods!
