Managing SMS Reminders in EasyPark Business
EasyPark Business offers three types of SMS reminders:
Parking is about to end – sent before a session ends (e.g., 15 minutes prior)
Parking ended – notifies when a session has ended
Active parking session – sent periodically (e.g., every 30 minutes) to remind of ongoing parking
Note: SMS reminders incur a cost. Administrators have full control over these settings in the Self-Service portal.
How to manage SMS reminders:
Log in to your company account on the Self-Service portal.
Navigate to the Messages tab.
Choose to manage either default settings for a payment group or personal settings for individual users.
Default settings for a payment group (Default tab):
Select a payment group from the dropdown menu.
Turn on/off types of SMS reminders and set intervals.
Click Reset all users to default to apply settings to all users in the group.
New users automatically inherit these default settings.
Repeat for each payment group as needed.
Personal preferences for individual users (Users tab):
Select a user from the dropdown menu.
Customize their SMS reminders and intervals.
Changes apply immediately and only affect that user.
Note: Resetting the group to default later will override personal preferences.
Check user permissions:
Administrators can restrict users from changing SMS settings in the app:
Select the payment group
Click Permissions in the upper right corner
Check/uncheck the box to allow or restrict user control
Click Save to apply changes
If permissions are disabled, users trying to change SMS settings in the app will see an error.
